DC-4 Skymaster: First US Airmail Coil

This coil stamp was issued in 1948. The Douglas-Commercial 4 engine plane is the image of this first U.S. Airmail coil stamp. Coils of stamps were mostly used by businesses having the need to send lots of air mail. This is a real work horse Airmail stamp.
