The Apollo Soyuz Test Project

The last flight of Apollo era hardware.

This design shows the union of the Apollo and the Soyuz spacecraft. The adapter module between the two spacecraft was carried into orbit by the Saturn 1B along with the Apollo spacecraft.

A more realistic image of the connected spacecraft. Also illustrated is the joint mission insignia. A comparable stamp issue by the Soviet Union was also produced for this mission.
