After the tile-roof industrial building style, another became popular: Concrete with stone
embedded in the surface. This building is in Santa Clara, but you see this style
in large parts of Sunnyvale too.

Was a Bank
We use fewer banks these days, though my accounting professor said to always
visit your bank in person. This building was a bank not too long ago.

The End of 87
Look just above the line of stopped cars, you see the abrupt end of Highway 87
at Highway 85. What does this mean? To me it says Silicon Valley is never
done, but always a work in progress!

Oops!
It was a dark, rainy day today. From a second floor window I tried to get
a picture of the trees outdoors for a kind of rain forest effect. Really,
it did look quite nice. But due to the darkness, the electronic flash on the
camera was triggered. Through the reflections you can see some of the
trees.

San Tomas Aqino Creek
We have had lots of rain, but still the Creek is pretty low.
This concrete creek is to the west of San Tomas, and goes under the road at this
point.
