Moreland - West San Jose Community Center Celebration

Welcome! From 10 AM until 1 PM people gathered at the Moreland - West San Jose Community Center for an Old Fashion 4th of July Celebration.

Most of the events were out doors in warm weather with sunny skies.

A youngster attempts a record in a soft ball toss.

The Engine leads the parade of decorated bikes, scooters, and other means of transportation around the track.

With so many decorated bikes and scooters, the parade was quite long.

The lead of the parade gathers as more kids are just entering the field.

Uncle Sam and San Jose Councilmember Linda LeZotte (pushing the engine) lead the parade along the final curve.

Decorated bikes and scooters in the sunshine were popular.

A Decorative skyrocket is part of the parade too.
