Arroyo Seco, California

We are near the entry from the Salinas Valley, looking west-southwest at about 3 PM.

The vineyards are to the north of Arroyo Seco Road on entry.

Below us are vineyards and the River, Arroyo Seco as seen from Arroyo Seco Road.

We are in the entry of Los Padres National Forest, at the Arroyo Seco Campground.

Look at water in the Arroyo, quite clear. This picture doesn't do justice, the water has an almost blueish tint in real life.

Although a bright day, this part of the Arroyo valley begins to darken, but the hill tops are bright.
