Los Padres National Forest

This pond is near a picnic area. The location is wooded with several ponds, and views of the surrounding hills.

Old Foundation?

From an area near the campgrounds, we find what appears to be an old foundation. Wonderful view of the hills in the distance.

Arroyo Seco

From the foundation I look down at the river, Arroyo Seco. Steep cliff, you can see the water flowing below through the trees and brush.

Deer: Hard to See

We are heading out of Arroyo Seco, and back in to the Salinas Valley. We spot a heard of deer to our left under the oaks. They are hard to see in this view, but they can see and hear us!

Good Day!

We look back towards Los Padres along Arroyo Seco Road as dusk approaches and we return home.
