Looking West from the outer platform, to the left, the Eastbound California Zephyr approaches its stop in Sacramento. To the right, the southbound Capitol Corridor noon hour deprture is nearly ready for boarding. The Zephyr will continue traveling east to Chicago. The Capitol Corridor train will shortly begin its 133 mile trip to San Jose.
