Camera and other facts!

The Current Week

The camera used in this web site is a Mustek VDC-3500. I bought it locally at Frys. (see the first week...) I had prior good results from a scanner from the same company. This is a VERY low cost camera, and I would say it was a good purchase all factors considered. There are lots of features I wish I had, but I don't expect them in the "entry level" digital camera I have. For example, I would like to have a zoom lense, more control over the shutter to name a few.
The part I don't like is power consumption. Digital cameras eat batteries. I have yet to buy the optional external AC power supply, but I probably will.

Camera box and manual.

There is something I am looking for, a rechargable 3 Volt, 123 type battery. I don't care it it lasts for just 3 shots, I would love it if that were it. If anyone has any ideas about this, please contact me at the email address below. I know these cameras require a lot of power, so I know there will be limits.
Ideally I'd like a charger with a solar cell, be happy to charge the battery all day long. So if you know of one for this type of battery, let me know!
