An Angel Investor is better suited to the earliest phase of a company's development, but knowledge is key to an entrepreneur's success. We recommend some good approaches on the Angel Investor page.

A few notes about criteria for inclusion:

Venture Capital firms listed must have an office in the Silicon Valley /San Francisco Bay area for inclusion. I also require the Venture Capital firm to have an operating web site and/or merchant accounts. I welcome email with suggestions for inclusion, or corrections to this list.
